Patricia Lee (Baldus) Sawyer

Patricia Lee (Baldus) Sawyer, age 78, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at her home in Goodland.  She was born January 12, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Mildred Baldus.  She grew up in Austin, Minnesota and graduated from Pacelli Catholic High School.  On July 5, 1958, she married Dean Sawyer in Austin, Minnesota.  Pat and Dean moved to Goodland in 1979.  Pat worked for many years for the Goodland Police Department Dispatch and Records.  Pat enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, puzzles, crafting and time spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Giles Baldus; sister, Tina Tune. 

She is survived by her daughters, Pam (James) Mulvey of Wendell, NC; Paula (Dale) Quast of Goodland, KS; grandchildren, Tyson Ruddell of Raleigh, NC; Kacie (Scott) Greene of Raleigh, NC; Johnny Gorostiza of Gardener, KS; Cody Gorostiza of Goodland, KS; and Tanner Weber of Goodland, KS. 

Funeral service will be Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. MT at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 307 West 13th in Goodland with interment following the service at the Goodland Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2018 at Bateman Funeral Home, 211 East 11th in Goodland, from 4 to 6 p.m. MT.  Vigil at 6 p.m. MT at Bateman Funeral Home.  Memorials will be designated later and may be left at the services or mailed to Bateman Funeral Home, P.O.
