Jimmy Don McBride

Jimmy Don McBride, age 67, of Goodland passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Goodland Regional Medical Center.  Jimmy was born August 25, 1950 to George (Mac) Albert and Elizabeth Lavonia (Parish) McBride in Marysville, California. 

Jimmy grew up and attended high school in Marysville and attended Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA and studied music.  On June 7, 1991 he married April (Couture) in Reno, Nevada.  Jimmy worked as a director of security for the Yuba Mall in Marysville until he retired. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, George (Mac) & Elizabeth; mother-in-law, Linda Snethen; brother-in-law, Michael Couture; son-in-law, Daniel Haggard; and his aunts and uncles. 

Jimmy is survived by his wife, April of Goodland, KS; son, Kevin McBride of Yuba, CA; son, Kenny Gonzales (Temerald) of Emigrant, MT; daughter, Scarlett Sipes of McAlister, OK; daughter, Amber McBride of Goodland, KS; daughter, Ashley Gutierrez (Abel) of Burlington, CO; daughter, Emily Hamilton (Scott) of Paradise, CA; son, Cody McBride (Cheyenne) of Emigrant, MT; son, Dylan McBride of Goodland, KS; brother, Mark Rogers of Marysville, CA; sister, Lori McBride of Sacramento, CA; he has 20 plus grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Jimmy was a well-known father figure, role model and hero to many others. 

A graveside service will be Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. MT at the Goodland Cemetery, a celebration of life will follow at the VFW Post 1133, 824 Main Street in Goodland.  Memorials will be designated later and may be mailed to Bateman Funeral Home, P.O.
