Kenneth Mack Heskett, Jr., age 54, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at his home in Hobart, Oklahoma. He was born December 16, 1963 in O’Neill, Nebraska to Kenneth, Sr. and Leota Heskett. To the union of Kenneth Heskett, Jr. and Margaret Peters four children were born; Dale, Miranda, Devin and Melissa. On August 24th, 1989 he married Betty Ann Pruitt and to this union four children were born; Brittany, Tyler, Danneen and Kacey.
Kenneth worked as a mechanic and truck driver. He loved racing, NASCAR, shooting sports or as he called it “just wasting bullets”, fishing, proud to say he was an OU fan, and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents, granddaughter Haley, and father-in-law Bob Pruitt.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann and children, Brittany Heskett of Goodland, KS; Tyler Heskett of Goodland, KS; Danneen Heskett of Lone Wolf, OK; Kacey Heskett of Hobart, OK; Margaret Peters and children, Dale Heskett of Idaho Falls, ID; Miranda Heskett of Absarokee, MT; Devin Heskett of Absarokee, MT; Melissa Heskett of Billings, MT; brothers, Mark (Donna) Heskett and Bob (Sondra) Heskett of Burlington, CO; sister, Nyla Heskett of Colby, KS; sister, Debbie (Ronnie) Reed of Goodland, KS; and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be Monday, April 2, 2018 at 2 p.m. MT at Bateman Funeral Home, 211 East 11th Street, Goodland, KS. Interment following service at the Goodland Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 1 to 2 p.m. MT.
