Aurelia May (Rice) Temple

Aurelia May Temple, age 76 of Fair Play Missouri, passed away December 19, 2016 in her home after battling cancer for the past 8 years.  She was born in Goodland Kansas on January 18, 1940.  She was the daughter of Lloyd and Evelyn (Dyson) Rice.

Aurelia attended grade school in Goodland KS.  She graduated from Bear Creek High School in Morrison Colorado.  She was a full time wife and mother most of her working years, although she did work for a short time in Goodland as a book keeper for the local IGA and at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

She married Robert Temple in Goodland, KS on October 2, 1976.  She enjoyed league bowling with friends in Goodland, was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution, enjoyed gardening, sewing, and crafts of many types, and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Goodland.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Lester Guy Rice.

She is survived by her husband Robert Temple of Fair Play MO, four children: Jackie Traverson of Bolivar MO, Connie (Ken) Richards of Moundridge KS, Jim (Shelley) Traverson of Kearney MO, Tony (Becky) Traverson of Arvada CO, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, Patricia Owens, Roberta (Jack) Carney, and JoAnne (Marshall) Smith.

Prayer service will start at 1:30 p.m. MT on April 22, 2017 at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with burial following at the Goodland Cemetery.  Father Norbert Dlabal officiating.
