Bernice Ann Linder Crouch, age 85, peacefully departed this earth on April 1, 2026, at her home in Northwest Wichita County Kansas and was welcomed into Heaven by her beloved husband of almost 46 years. Bernice was the third daughter born to Albert Edward “Dutch” and Mabel Bernice Burr Linder on July 26, 1940 at the home of her maternal grandparents, Hiram Alpine and Alice Myra Ford Burr in Northeast Wichita County. She was married to Lloyd Lynn Crouch on August 28, 1958.

Bernice gracefully dealt with heart disease for 40 years enduring several attacks, bypass surgery, and numerous stents. Even after the loss of her husband nearly 23 years ago, Bernice lived her life to the fullest, independently, in the country where she could see and enjoy the nature surrounding her. Bernice was a porcelain artist who painted beautiful pieces of china and hundreds of keep-sake baby shoes for all of her friends and family. She was a member of the Pyramid China Painting Club of Scott City, Kansas, and the Kansas Federation of China Decorators. She was a member of the Dinas Church in Wallace County and attended the Carwood Community Church near her home.

Bernice was proceeded in death by her husband, Lloyd Crouch, sister Alberta Sharon Linder Mullen and her parents, Albert and Mabel Linder.
