Helen Louise Spratford

Helen Louise Spratford, age 83, of St. Francis passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022.

Helen was born November 6, 1938 to LeRoy and Allie (Thomas) Wolaver in Meeker, Colorado.  She grew up and went to grade school in Meeker and graduated high school in Santa Maria, California.  On August 10, 1999 she married Sherman Spratford in Fish Haven, Idaho.  She worked as a manager of maintenance agreements at Sears Service Center in Colorado for 11 years.  In 2019 she relocated to St. Francis to be closer to her family.  She enjoyed riding horses, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ralph Wolaver; and sisters, Juanita Brady, Ethel Braumback and Earlene Tilford.

She is survived by her husband, Sherman of Spooner, WI; daughter, Deborah Davidson of St. Francis; son, Keith (Mickey) Ford of St. Francis; sister, Esther Harrison of Nampa, ID; 7 grandchildren: Allen Ford, Ryan Davidson, Dean Owens, Amber Leibbrand, Alyssa Davidson, Sam Ford, Michaela Waite; 17 greatgrandchildren; and many more family and friends.
