Larry Wayne White was born in Goodland on June 12, 1943 to Fred E. and Velma (Rice) White. He had two sisters, Shirley and Janice. He lived in Goodland all his life. Larry learned to work hard at an early age... walking and shoveling snow with an old hand shovel when he was probably not over 12. He eventually became a painting, dry walling and general contractor doing commercial contracts in a 300 mile radius of Goodland. When asked about hobbies...his son told him once "Dad.. you need to find a hobby besides work"....another love he had was cleaning his vehicles and helping those he loved, family or friends.

Larry lost his beloved children Jennifer and Jeff which were hard blows and then shingles in 2006 left him with permanent damage to nerves which caused chronic untreatable pain. This with age and more health problems led to him saying enough, he was ready for a good peaceful sleep and pain relief.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn, grandson Malcom and wife Jessica and their children Matix and Emersyn who live in Hutchinson and granddaughter Kassidy and her husband Brett who live near Jetmore, KS. Also he is survived by his brother in law Rick Fitzgerald and his family as well as other relatives and friends.

After all the sad funerals in his life, his decision was no service with a private inurnment by his kids. Thank you to all his good friends...
