Matthew S. Krayca

Matthew S. Krayca, age 37, of Goodland passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at his home.

He was born on December 9, 1978, to David and Sondra Krayca in Goodland.  Matthew went to school in Goodland and graduated from Northwest Kansas Technical College in Goodland.

Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Stephen A. Krueger and James P. Krayca; aunts, Stephanie Krueger Seirer and Eileen Krayca; uncles Richard Krayca and Wayne Krayca.

Survivors include his parents of Goodland; brother, Dustin Krayca of Goodland; niece, Helaina Krayca of Sharon Springs; grandparents, Ann Krayca of Goodland, Dee and Vinita Finnesy of Goodwell, OK; uncles, Jim Krayca of Goodland, Ken Kraysha (Glenda) of Townsend, GA, Scott (Patti) Krueger of Knoxville, TN; aunts, Robbi (Kenneth) Smith of Goodwell, OK, Betty (Don) Engel of Russell, KS, Kathy Krayca of Tribune, KS. Cousins, Danny (Diane) Krayca , Debbie (Steve) Simon, Pam (Kevin) Hook, Trisha Bunney, Trista (David) Anderson, Christina Conley, Wayne Hoch, Sheri (Dale) Stone of Tribune, KS, Robert (Tammy) Krayca of OK, John Wayne (Melissa) Krayca of Gardner KS, Chance Smith, Cambree Smith, Dan Mills, Mike Mills, Ashley Pfannenstiel, Trent Seirer and many other cousins.

Matthew will be missed by many friends and family, as well as his beloved dog, Bandit.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., mountain time, on Monday, October 10, 2016, at Bateman Funeral Home, 211 East 11th, Goodland.  Memorials will be designated by the family later and may be sent in care of Bateman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 278, Goodland, Kansas 67735.
