Michael Ray Butts

Michael Ray Butts, age 62, passed away Friday, May 19, 2017.

Michael was born September 28, 1954 to Neil and Barbara Butts in Goodland.  Michael grew up in Goodland and graduated from Goodland High School with the class of 1972.  He then attended the Communications Technology Program at Northwest Kansas Technical School in Goodland.  He traveled with his job of communications technology and worked all over the country.  He always enjoyed woodworking and his dogs.

Survived by his mother of Goodland, KS; his daughter Terra (Brandon) Niehoff and two grandchildren  Emma and Jace of Kansas City, KS; brothers Rod Butts of Goodland, KS and Tony (Michelle) Butts of  Colby, KS and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his father, sister Patty Mills, brother Troy Butts and sister-in-law Dee Butts.

A memorial service will be Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 2 p.m. MT at Bateman Funeral Home, 211 East 11th Street in Goodland with Dr. Kent Myron Scott officiating.
