Nancy Mae (Amos) Cloyd

Nancy Mae (Amos) Cloyd, age 82, of Goodland passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021. She was born August 24, 1939 at the family farm Northwest of Goodland, the daughter of Robert and Mary Belle (Murray) Amos.  She grew up and attended school graduating from Goodland High School in 1957.  She married Van William Cloyd Jr. in 1959.  To this union were born Jackie, Rodney and Tony. Nancy worked as a secretary for Kansas Claims until her retirement, then she worked at the Super 8 front desk.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, keeping up with her family and friends on Facebook. Preceding her in death were her parents, and siblings Lyman, Marion, Rex, Evelyn, Duane and Glenn (Sam). Surviving family includes her children Jackie Battistoni of Goodland, KS, Rodney Cloyd, Topeka, KS, and Tony (Reatha) Cloyd, Lindale, TX, bonus children Judy (Andy) Ayala, McKinney, TX, and Darrell (Michele) Grund, Sidney, NE.  Her grandchildren Angela Delano, Shane (Jen) Hauser, Matthew Cloyd, Nicole (Christopher) McAdams, Ashleigh Cloyd, Cassie (Shawn) Reynolds, Brittany Cloyd, Gabriella Grund, Janae Grund and Cierra Grund, 10 great grandchildren and many more family and friends.
