Ramona "Monie" Jean (Conner) Younger

Ramona Jean Younger, age 95, past away peacefully on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the Greeley County Health in Tribune, Kansas.  Monie made it home just in time for Christmas with Erv.

Monie was born July 11, 1928 to Harry and Peggy (Garrett) Conner in Dighton, Kansas. She grew up and went to school in Dighton. On June 16, 1948 she married Erv Younger in Marienthal, Kansas. She worked as a bookkeeper for John Deere and True Value, and in the 1960’s she was an Avon Sales Representative. Monie was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Tribune, she enjoyed traveling and taking her grandchildren on a vacation, hosting holidays, making homemade ice cream, hot chocolate, crafting and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include sons, Max Younger, Alan Younger both of Salina; seven grandchildren, Jason and Victoria Younger, Beth Hanny, Jill and Brett Beringer, Jena and Matt McKenzie, Adam and Mindy Younger, Nick Younger, Emily Younger; thirteen great-grandchildren, Cole, Jacob, Grace, Tatum, Jude, Zekke, Titus, Madix, Joshua, Cora, Thad, Oliver, Andrew

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband Erv; son, Ron Lane;  brother Harry Jr.; sister Betty; and a precious great granddaughter, Emma Renee Younger.
