Robert Paul Temple

Robert Paul Temple, age 80, of Fair Play, Missouri passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022.

Bob was born January 4, 1942 to Edward and Patricia (Ryan) Temple in Emerson, Nebraska.  Bob grew up in Emerson and graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School.  Bob served in the U.S. Army.  He attended the drafting program at the Northwest Kansas Technical School in Goodland.  On October 2, 1976 he married Aurelia May Rice in Goodland, Kansas.  Bob worked as a linehaul driver for Yellow Freight for 31 years, retiring in 1999.  He was a member of the Catholic Church, Elks, VFW and Teamster/Steward.  He enjoyed driving a semi-truck, reading, spending time with family, especially his grandchildren, telling jokes and stories.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Aurelia; parents, Edward and Patricia; and brother, Edward Jr.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Jackie Traverson of Bolivar, MO and Connie (Ken) Richards of Moundridge, KS; sons, Jim (Shelley) Traverson of Kearney, MO and Tony (Becky) Traverson of Arvada, CO; sisters, Judy (Larry) McDonald, Jackie Waterman of Loveland, CO and Suzie Boyle of Windsor, CO; brothers, Mike Temple of Brandon, NE and Dan Temple of Loveland, CO; 7 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren; and many more family and friends.
