Ronda Jean Merritt

Ronda Jean Merritt, 53, of Goodland, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017.

Ronda was born October 3, 1963 in Brighton, Colorado to Ronald Eugene Lester and Carolyn Esther Belmain.  She grew up in Commerce City, Colorado and attended school at Adams County High School in Commerce City, Colorado.  Ronda worked as a secretary and bar tender for many years, she also was a very active member of ADAPT disability rights organization.  She enjoyed gardening, art work and about any kind of crafting and making many different things.

Preceding her in death are her father; her son Kenneth Joseph Perkins who passed away in 1990; and her brother Carrol Loyd Lester.

Survivors include her daughter Sandra Adkins (Thomas) of Riverton, Wyoming; sister Christine Wilson (Gary) of Wethersfield, Connecticut; sister Barbara Lucero of Aurora, Colorado; her grandchildren Austin and Hope Adkins and her great grandchild Benjamin.

A memorial service will be held later.
