Stuart Ned Johnson

Stuart Ned Johnson was born on December 8, 1960 to Ned and Donna Johnson and passed on October 9, 2024.  He has three sisters, Merilie Leach (Gary) St. Francis, Kansas, Rosalie Ketter (Bird City) and Shelley Wood (Dripping Springs, Texas) who loved having a baby brother.  He attended Bird City Grade and High School in Bird City, Kansas.  Stuart participated and excelled in track.  After graduating,  he attended Garden City Community College followed by moving to Dallas, Texas and getting his Bachelor's Degree from DeVry University in Computer Information Systems in Irving, Texas.

Stuart enjoyed technical electronics and was Manager at Frontier AG in Atwood, Kansas, working also in Bird City, Kansas.  Stuart retired to Bird City.

He adored his nieces and nephews: Heidi Ketzner (Nick, Bird City), Tyson Ketter (Bird City), Lance Ketter (Lawrence, Kansas), Derek Ketter (Bird City), Paige Snethen (Joey, Goodland, Kansas), Cliff Leach (Kelly, Bird City), and Kevin Wood (Austin, Texas).  Also beloved to him are his great-nieces and nephews, Dylan Ketzner (Bird City), Brady Ketzner (Manhattan, Kansas), Hayden Ketzner (Bird City), Sammi Snethen (Goodland, Kansas), Witham Snethen (Goodland), Kolbie Leach, (Bird City), and Kayten Flanagan (Battle Creek, Nebraska).  Also, loved by Stuart is Angel Lawson, fiancée.

Family and friends hold Stuart in their hearts and prayers and he will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be Sunday, October 27, at the Wesleyan Church in Bird City at 2 pm.
