Theresa Jo (Lance) Williams, age 79, of Goodland passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 at her home.
Jo was born January 26, 1940 to Larry and Barbara (Fressle) Lance in Los Angeles County, California. She grew up in Burbank, California and graduated High School in Skagway, Alaska. On September 19, 1957 she married Buckley Duane Williams in Carson City, Nevada. She took Spanish and shorthand classes at Wallace County High School in Sharon Springs and during her cancer treatment she took a semester of Art at Colby Community College in Colby.
Jo loved preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, cross-stitch, diamond and oil painting, scuba diving and spending time with her family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents and grandparents; husband, Buckley; and her grandson, Tyler Duane.
She is survived by her sons, Steven Wade Williams (Carol Hatman) of Sharon Springs, KS; Bryan Dean Williams of Topeka, KS; Larry Joe Williams (Lynn) of Kanorado, KS; Chris Lee Williams of Goodland, KS; sister, Chris Provenzano/Chernof (Dave) of Santa Barbara, CA; grandchildren, Katie, Amy, Maggie, Gavin, Beau, Desiree and Alexis; and many other family and friends.
