Vicki Lea (Wedermyer) Hilty

October 3, 1956 — June 19, 2017

Vicki Lea Hilty, 60, of Goodland was called home on Monday, June 19, 2017.  She was born October 3, 1956 in WaKeeney, KS to James and Kathryn Wedermyer.  Vicki grew up and went to grade school in WaKeeney, she graduated from Goodland High School, Class of 1974.  Vicki attended Colby Community College in Colby, KS and studied accounting.  She worked and owned H&R Block in Scott City, KS for several years and worked for the USDA Farm Service Credit in Goodland for several years and retired in 2016.  She enjoyed listening to Christian music, loved her kitten and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Vicki is survived by her parents, Jim and Kathryn Wedermyer of Goodland; her children, Chris (Sarah)  Geeseka of Augusta, KS and Lindsey Geeseka of Goodland.  Her sister Patti Gray of Kansas City, MO; her brothers Douglas (Sandra) Wedermyer of WaKeeney, KS and David (Laura) Wedermyer of Overland Park, KS.  Grandchildren Preston and Gracelyn Geeseka and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Friday, June 23, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. MT at the Calvary Gospel Church, 402 College Street, Goodland.  Visitation will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. MT at Bateman Funeral Home, 211 East 11th Street, Goodland.

Memorials may be designated to Lindsey’s Education Fund or to the Goodland Regional Medical Center Dialysis Department and may be left at the service or mailed to Bateman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 278, Goodland, KS  67735.  Online condolences www.batemanfuneral.com
