Victor Allen Crouse

Victor Allen Crouse, age 74, passed away at the Cheyenne County Village on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 after a lengthy decline in health.

Victor was born July 30, 1949 to Allen and Norma (Tegtmeyer) Crouse in North Platte, Nebraska. He attended school in Denver, joined the Navy during the Vietnam era, stationed in Guam.

In an earlier time, he lived a western life. He enjoyed riding, roping, working on a ranch as well as shoeing horses.  He loved his dogs, hunting, and fishing.  Victor was a direct, straight to the point guy, who never knew a stranger, loved to laugh, and tell jokes. Vic was one of a kind.

He was predeceased by his parents Allen and Norma Crouse, and his older brother Larry. Victor is survived by his brother Richard, sister-in-law Marion Crouse, many nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, June 1 at 12 p.m. CST at Henry Hall, Brewster, Kansas. Come share good food, fellowship, and lots of memories. The family is providing pork, dinnerware, tea and lemonade, sides would be welcome. Information and condolences www.batemanfuneral.com
