Virginia Lea (Barnes) Pebley, age 71, of Canon City, Colorado went to be with the Lord early Sunday, November 7, 2021. She was born February 21, 1950 to Benjamin and Mamie (Light) Barnes in Goodland. Virginia was raised on a farm in Northwest Kansas, she enjoyed reading, word puzzles, watching tv and coloring art which she shared with everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Mamie; brothers, James Doyle, Russell Keith and Benjamin Leslie Barnes; and sister, Ardith Chadwick.
She is survived by her children, Billy Joe and Ashley; sisters, Eloise Johnston of Surprise, AZ and Peggy Welsh of Sun City, AZ; and many more family and friends.
