Obituary
Ardith Mae Chadwick, age 82, of Goodland, passed away January 25, 2022 at Topside Manor.
Ardith was born November 30, 1939 to Benjamin E. and Mamie A. (Light) Barnes at their home in Hale, Colorado. She grew up and went to country school in Sherman county and graduated from Goodland High School in 1957. Ardith began work as a nurse’s aide at Boothroy Memorial Hospital and continued her work at Goodland Regional Medical Center for many years. She enjoyed reading, doing word search and spending time with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James (Delores) Barnes, Keith Barnes and Bennie Barnes; and sister, Virginia Pebley.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Jake) Welsh of Goodland, KS; sons, Roger (Jannette) Chadwick of Eldorado Springs, MO and Lonnie (Tami) Chadwick of Oakley, KS; sisters, Eloise Johnston of Surprise, AZ and Peggy Welsh of Sun City, AZ; 12 grandchildren; 30 greatgrandchildren; 4 great-greatgrandchildren; and many more family and friends.
