Carol Sue (Bogart) Armstrong

Carol Sue (Bogart) Armstrong, age 76, of Goodland passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018.  Carol was born February 3, 1942 to Kenneth and Leona (Doerfer) Bogart in Goodland, Kansas. 

Carol grew up and attended school in Goodland.  On April 21, 1989, she married Bob Armstrong in Burlington, Colorado.  Carol worked for the Sherman County Register of Deeds for over 30 years.  Some of her favorite activities were cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob; son, Trev Allen Purcell; stepson, Robert Kip Armstrong; sister, Glenda Weehunt; brother, Wendel Bogart. 

Carol is survived by her son, Lincoln Purcell of Goodland, KS; stepson, Fred (Sherri) Armstrong of Lakin, KS; daughter-in-law Kayleen Armstrong; stepdaughter, Amy Jo (Michael) Bohnen of Bethune, CO; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside memorial service will be Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 2 p.m. MT, at the Goodland Cemetery, North Main Street in Goodland.  Memorials will be designated later and may be left at the service or mailed to Bateman Funeral Home, P.O.
