Dana Huthansel Obituary

Dana Lee Huthansel, age 41, passed Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Goodland Regional Medical Center. Dana was born September 18, 1979 to Collin and Audrey (Elfman) Huthansel in Goodland. She grew up in Goodland and attended Goodland High School.

Dana attended the Oxford House in Hays where she met many new friends. She enjoyed drawing, listening to music, cooking, spending time with her family and friends, and her dog Maxwell.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; uncles, Ralph Elfman, Eugene Blake and Joe Daniels; cousins, David Elfman and Stephanie Darby.

Dana is survived by her father, Collin Huthansel of Goodland; mother, Audrey Huthansel of Oakley, KS; sister, Sonja Hildebrand of Goodland; brother, David Schindler of St. Paul, MN; sister, Wendy (Tyson Owings) Huthansel of Goodland; longtime companion, Justin Tesmer of Goodland; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephew and friends.
