Patricia Fraker

Patricia Irene Fraker, age 73, of McDonald, Kansas passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Good Samaritan in Atwood. 

Patricia was born July 3, 1948 to Edgar and Lillian (Byers) Fraker in Greeley, Colorado. Patty grew up and attended school in Boulder. She lived many places in Colorado and Kansas and  spent a short time in California. Patty worked as a cook at a dude ranch in southern Colorado, as head nutritionist at Grace Manor in Burlington and owned C&P Canvas. In 2019 she moved to McDonald. Patty enjoyed collecting dolls, reading romance novels, crafting including cross stitch and plastic canvas and spending time with her family and friends. 

Patty was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ron Fraker. 

She is survived by her long-time companion, Chuck Parrish of McDonald, KS; daughter, Tammy (Curt) Freeman of Florence, CO; sons, Troy (April) Basnett of Palmer, AK, Donny (Melinda) Basnett of McDonald, KS and Tony (Kimberly) Basnett of Brighton, CO; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Andrea Trowbridge of San Antonio, TX; brother, Stan Fraker of Portland, OR; she also had many children she loved like her own including Nick, Jim, Josh and Shani; and many more family and friends.
