Thomas LeRoy Colby

Thomas LeRoy Colby, age 63, of Kanorado passed away on October 5, 2023. Tom was born March 2, 1960 to Donald and Bernadine (Griess) Colby in Smith Center, Kansas. He attended Goodland High School and the Northwest Kansas Technical College Auto Mechanics program. On May 27, 1978 he married Tammy Sue Cochran in Goodland, to this union Justin, Jessica and Joshua were born. Tom worked as a mechanic for many years and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Goodland. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, being the racetrack promoter and he dearly loved spending time with his family and friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents and grandparents and infant sister Marlene. Tom is survived by his wife Tammy of Kanorado; sons Justin (Rosa) and Joshua (Lisa) of Goodland; daughter Jessica (Matthew) Phillippi of Kanorado; sister Barb (Jett) Fromholtz of St. Francis, KS; brother Ricky (Brenda) Colby of Virginia; stepsisters Linda (Roy) Feldt and Tina (Nathan) Pennell; stepbrother Michael (Melissa) Johnson; grandchildren Lexus, Rayce, Jason and Jaxon; and many more family and friends.
