Wanda R. Ginn, age 84, of Goodland passed away Sunday, Mach 28, 2021 at Topside Manor in Goodland.
Wanda was born February 7, 1937 to Clarence H. and Nellie V. (Wilburn) Heyen in Rawlins County, Kansas. She grew up in Rawlins County and graduated from Atwood Community High School in 1955 . On January 22, 1956 she married Michael Ginn, to this union four children were born Mark, Terry, Jeffrey, and Michelle.
For many years Wanda was a cashier at Boogaarts/Jubilee Foods Grocery Store. Wanda was a member of the First Christen Church of Goodland. She enjoyed painting, crystal hunting and walks in the Colorado mountains, and she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents and grandparents; son, Mark and his wife Vicky; and sisters, Velma Englebrecht and Jean Pitner.
She is survived by her son, Terry (Mary) Ginn of Trenton, NE; son, Jeffrey Ginn (Bridgette Helman) of Rice Lake, WI; daughter, Michelle Ginn of Goodland, KS; grandchildren: Eric Ginn, Elicia “Missy” Ginn, Jason Silva, Dorothy Adkison, Mark Ginn Jr., Andrew Raile, Blaine Luther, Gavin Ginn, Chalee Luther and Bailee Ginn; eight great-grandchildren; and many more family and friends.
Memorial service will be Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Bateman Funeral Home, 211 East 11th Street, Goodland. Inurnment following the service at the Atwood Fairview Cemetery at 1 p.m. MT.
